Who are we at General Magic?

We’re an elite squad of designers, developers, system architects, researchers, writers and seasoned Web3 professionals. Our Mission is to make magic happen! We do this by supporting crypto-philanthropic organizations and communities to reach their full potential, collaborating with them in a diverse range of capacities. We are dedicated to building systems that appreciate the societal value of creation and stewardship of Public Goods, which is currently under-appreciated in our global economy. Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Head of Marketing at General Magic. Someone passionate about the web3 public goods space and using crypto to build a better future. To succeed in this role you must:

• Have experience in web3 marketing

• Have experience with product digital marketing; funnels, user growth and acquisition (performance and data driven)

• Be creative with an experimentation mindset (always looking for the latest web3 trend we can test out)

• Be able to use web2 digital marketing best practices in a web3 context

• Hands-on leader and doer

• Be comfortable managing multiple products and projects simultaneously

• Capacity to execute your own strategy and manage a small but growing team

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the leadership team to build marketing strategies for General Magic services, products and the “Giveth Galaxy” ecosystem; such as our design services, Giveth, Pairwise, Praise, RetroPGF Community and new products (like our account abstraction wallet).

• Create quarterly KPIs and strategies to target new users and product adoption.

• Plan a web3 strategy and action plan for user acquisition including; content marketing (social media with a focus on inbound), SEO, online events (X/ Twitter spaces, webinars), new web3 channels (Farcaster etc.), lead magnets (acquiring emails) / giveaways, ambassador / referral marketing, and paid ads experiments.

• Plan a strategy and action plan for funnel conversion and creating educational content.

• Plan a strategy and action plan to market to increase adoption of the $GIV token.

• Run experimental marketing campaigns (testing new tools, platforms, metas, memes etc.)  

• Oversee and project manage content creation and strategy implementation within our Giveth Galaxy marketing team; Build a workflow for new and existing contributors

• Help us manage and grow our marketing team.
